When making administrative changes that affect all of your blog posts keep in mind that you may lose your history of social media statistics for each of your posts (i.e. the information on sharing on social networking sites). In other words, you may find the share info show ‘0’ as the number of shares. The changes that cause this impact on sharing data may still be necessary for site performance reasons … such as moving your website, changing the structure of permalinks, etc. but if this data is important weigh the loss of the information before you commit to the change.
