Woo Commerce recently added a link to merchant emails, not customer emails, encouraging Woo Commerce store managers to use their mobile app. This was to let store managers and site admins know that they are able to manage their store from anywhere simply by using the app.
Unfortunately, when first released the notice also showed up on customer emails. This was a bug during development that has been fixed.
“The reason it was added is pretty simple — the mobile app is a key part of managing a Woo store for many merchants, and we’ve seen and heard a ton of feedback that more merchants would use it if they even knew it existed. This felt like a great contextual place to make sure they know about it, and get started easily.”
