Sample View of FB ‘Like’ Box
Adding a Facebook Like Box to your website is easy! Particularly if your website is built on a Content Management System like WordPress.
It’s a matter of deciding what you would like to appear on your website along with your most recent post/posts. Photos of your fans? Your cover image? A small or large header?
The sample image (right) shows the Like Box with fan images, a cover image, and a large header.
A Facebook Like Box lets visitors to your website know that you have a Facebook Page. They can then click on the Box to view or like your Page.
If you know how to add or edit your website sidebars and widgets, adding the code to your site is straight forward. You don’t need to know code! If you need help, have your website developer do it for you.
Getting The Code For Your Facebook Like Box
The Facebook Like Box is set up through their Developers page. Click here to go to the Facebook for Developers page. Once there, add your website URL, choose your layout, and get the code.
Before you click the ‘Get Code’ button, the layout you’ve chosen will appear. This will show you how the Like Box will look on your website.
Once the code box appears, click on the iFrame link to grab the code. Then paste the code into the appropriate area on your website.
Your Facebook Like Box should now appear on your Page!
